Jon Keller

The story of Jon Keller leads down many rabbit holes and one must exercise extreme care in navigating this territory lest he/she find his/herself lost forever amidst the nooks and corridors of the story of the life of one, Jon Keller. For the waters run deep and the sky is immeasurable in the land of Keller.

Born at a very early age, Jon began walking at 3 months old. Jon began reading at 9 months old. Jon was an avid juggler and circus entertainer by the age of 5. However skilled this young child was, Keller felt that there was more for him to accomplish, higher hills to climb.

It was on his 13th birthday that his parents bought him a 2nd hand guitar from the downtown pawn shop. Along with the guitar came a book of the Dark Arts. Thus began a ten year trek that has seen many ups and downs, mostly downs, many stuffed clowns and detached foam heads left in dark corners of the various houses Jon Keller inhabited through the years.

In the year of our Lord, 2010, Jon Keller finished his first album, entitled, “Down in a Mirror” which contained therein many sundry songs and laments on the grave dangers of love and loss. Miracles and bar tabs. Whores and bottlenecked traffic by the local porn shop. Grace also abounds on this album, in spades. Humility is nowhere to be found - for in order for Jon Keller to be humble would be to deny his greatness, and therefore make a liar out of himself. Jon Keller is no liar. Jon Keller is no liar, indeed.
