About:
When on any committee work, Scotty customarily wears a beard, flaming red flannel shirt, patent leather belt with spanner and revolver attached, coat hung over arm, and pants stuffed into boot tops. It is fair to say that Scotty has a warm heart, and a strong love for his friends, and never enters into a quarrel when he can reasonably keep out of it. In fact, most folks say that whenever one of Scotty's fights is investigated, it always turns out that it was originally no affair of his. He just jumped in out of good-heartedness to help whoever was being beat the worst.
He was bosom friends with Steve French for years and they often took adventurous "pot-luck" together. On one occasion, they threw down their coats and took the weaker side in a fight with some strangers. After gaining a hard-earned victory, they turned and found the men they had been helping gone; also missing were Scotty and Steve's coats, which they had thrown down in their rush to fight.
